Our Trees, Our Life/Miti Yetu, Maisha Yetu is a registered non-governmental organization in Tanzania dedicated to tree plantation, environmental conservation, and community empowerment. Our mission is to restore degraded lands, combat climate change, and promote sustainable livelihoods through forestry and environmental stewardship.

My name is Lisiantosi Gadieli Issangya, and I am the Director of the non-profit organization Our Trees, Our Life. I have a background in clinical medicine and worked as a doctor for five years. During my practice, I developed a deep awareness of the strong connection between human health and the environment.
Over the years, I nurtured a vision to establish an organization focused on environmental conservation. In 2025, I proudly turned that vision into reality by launching Our Trees, Our Life, which has been one of my greatest achievements.
Today, I am fully dedicated to this work. I find great fulfillment in collaborating with students and communities to plant trees and promote environmental awareness. Seeing young people actively participate alongside my team brings me immense joy and purpose.
